This course is designed to introduce elementary-age children to the fascinating world of plants through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Throughout the course, students will dive into the study of botany by actively participating in a variety of experiments and activities that bring the concepts to life. From dissecting flowers to observing plant growth, these interactive lessons aim to cultivate a genuine interest in science and a deeper appreciation for the natural world. By the end of the course, students will have gained a foundational understanding of botany, developed their observation and experimentation skills, and fostered a lasting curiosity about the living organisms that surround us.

The text will be Exploring Creation with Botany by Jeannie Fulbright First Edition. You will also need to purchase either the Notebooking Journal or the Junior Notebooking Journal for your child. These are all available on the secondary resale market. You may also wish to purchase the audiobook. Mrs. Rose will teach content from the book and conduct experiments and hands-on activities. Students will be expected to complete reading (listening) and the journaling notebook at home.
